In the BinarySearch Tree, we discussed what should be an efficient find algorithm; with the worst-case performance it achieves for the various operations is linear time, which is no better than the performance of list-based and array-based tree implementations. The simple correction is to add a rule to the binary search tree definition that maintains a logarithmic height for the tree. The rule we consider in this section is the following height-balance property, which characterizes the structure of a binary search tree T in terms of the heights of its internal nodes.

Hello sir. TL;DR: can implement one of self-balancing trees for you. What you need is self-balancing trees, the most popular(and more effective) of them are: AVL(it's probably what you need) and Red Black tree. What you actually need? 1) just implementation any of them? 2) may be with step-by-step explanation 3) "reinventing the wheel"? to make something (probably) less effective and somewhat different?

This is a fairly easy task, out of intermediate algorithms and data structures courses. The description fits quite directly that of AVLs, but can be implemented with a number of structures, the most common being Red-Black trees. Does this explanation sound like a proper plan to you? It does to me.
