Remote long-term full/part-time iOS developer (Eastern-Europe)

YOU ARE AN INDIVIDUAL FREELANCER AND YOU ARE BASED IN EASTERN-EUROPE AND YOU HAVE A GOOD SPOKEN/WRITTEN ENGLISH!!! First bigger project that you’ll be working on: You'll need to develop an iOS app that is already developed by us for Android. Keywords are: firebase push, websockets/json, ed25519, nfc A simple app with a single view and a few dialogues. We could go with a bunch of iterations. terations: - Iteration 0: set up scaffolding (github, build, etc) for a simple single screen app that shows a log of things happening (startup, quit, foreground etc), guarded by a "show debug" button - Iteration 1: generate (with some library) Ed25519 keypair and POST the public part to a given URL on first app startup, as JSON, storing the keypair in the app. - Iteration 2: react to firebase push notifications and open the app/bring to front as seamlesssly as possible. Add the push token to the post message in iteration 1 - Iteration 3: have a websocket open when the app is open to a given url, reporting application state changes to the socket with json. Close the app nicely and gracefully when websocket closes or a specific message is received - Iteration 4: detect NFC events and print the events/information about tag to the log (card present, card removed, card UID etc) - Iteration 5: receive messages from websocket, relay to NFC, send NFC responses back via websocket How to apply Please do show as a first thing that you understand what’s needed, you have read everything through and you have relevant suggestions/questions. And answer the following three questions in your initial message: 1. Dou have any sample codes out there, just that I could get a visual grasp of possible wtf/min when reading it? I dont read swift so something else would be great, just want to get a visual idea of coding style:) What should I look, which is your greatest? 2. Who else you have in your team or you're a single freelancer? Or you're a project manager in your company? Or (co-)owner or employee? 3. Please rate in 10 point scale your different skills? Including how familiar are you with this project related keywords (firebase push, websockets/json, ed25519, nfc)? 4. MOST IMPORTANT: Please add some complexity/time estimates (fibonacci is great scale) to the above iterations. So basically please provide meaningful estimations. This first task would probably be a week or two worth of time. If it goes well, we'll hire you for the next one etc. Preferably move part-time soon and why not to discuss after several months also full-time. We work with time tracker so full-time means for most of us 6h per day.
