I currently handle facebook and google Adwords for several real-estate agents.
It takes a foundation of solid account structure, proper Facebook pixel placement, proper Google scripts and landing pages and an optimized website to make an effort like this success. All of these things are required to create and build custom audiences, create ad sets with creative and ad copy and finalize the entire funnel and campaigns for the endeavor to be successful. We've audited the existing effort and find that a performance-based model is adequate, but knowing that this is an ever-changing environment, so we will be split testing varying copy, creative, audiences and looking at the Click Funnel landing page conversion ratio too -- all things that heavily weigh on a successful ad campaign, or not.
