Ecommerce Search Engine and SEO Internet Marketing

Small business based in NJ is looking for a freelance eCommerce marketing guru to assist in properly launching, marketing, and generating sales for our niche product line. We are a distributor for 4 or 5 different companies of similar niche products. All in and with time, we would potentially have about 1000-5000 SKU’s (again with time and ramping up). We need someone who can use organic traffic as well as paid search on Google and other places to draw in targeted traffic and convert orders. Freelancer must have a proven background in gaining market share, converting visitors into sales, design, eBay sales, Amazon sales, etc. I need more than a designer/programmer/launcher of websites; I would/can handle this if need be. I need someone aggressive to come along and really take the marketing reins, generating an ROI through any means they see fit. For the right person this could be a long term fit. Currently we do not have much in the way of sales and a small ecommerce platform (Shopify). I need advice and direction on platform (cost in mind) and why. I can hire other freelancers for data entry of products. You role will strictly be marketing and sales. Many of the product sales come from our existing, closely related business, however we are setting out to make this a size-able part of our business going forward. I need a forward thinker who knows ecommerce and marketing specifically eCommerce websites in and out. I am not sure how to budget this project so I am willing to listen to any all proposals, whether an hourly rate, set project fee, monthly fee, a cut of revenues; really anything and everything.
