Our current site was designed and implemented by Eidentity Freelancer. The custom code they wrote allows a customer to visit the site, create an RFQ (request for quote) cart, and submit the RFQ to our company for a quote. The problem is it creates records in a database, not an email as we discussed during the initial design phase. I am looking for a Freelancer to examine the code and modify it so that when the RFQ cart is submitted, an email is generated versus data written to the database. The email generated must conform to current RFC for email. Our server does not accept executable email, nor does it accept email without an date and time header.
No payment made until project completion. Payment determined by scope of work. Timeline must be adhered to. No remote access to server without IT Personnel at our facility watching. All code is the property of our company. Working hours for this project is Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Central time. Entire project should be completed no later than 10 days after project award. Freelancer must be able to work within these constraints. Acceptance of the project is acceptance of the terms. Open source code is acceptable. Code must conform to best practices. This is not a hosted Wordpress install. It is a local server we administer and all operations must conform to our local security policy. Serious coders only. No beginners. Must be willing to support work after project completion. Wordpress core should not be modified in a manner as to make upgrading the core difficult.
RFQ contact form changes:
Select a sales rep – table – populate from table.
Question or comments – form won’t submit without it. Remove requirement.
Send email to client and the sales representative on the form.
???Change the Model label on the rfq page to read Condition to match the product page. See if Model is hard coded or if it’s variable related. Will get back with me and see how big a job it is.???
Backend Changes:
New menu item. RFQ Email section. Change the message sent to the customer/client. Email to contain details about the RFQ submittal and the representative assigned.
Add sales representatives. CRUD for each. Name and email for each. Add Job Title and phone number field.

A customer visiting ftav.com submitted a RFQ to you.
