Production Assistant- Graphic Designer (Vancouver BC)

Looking for a hard working, detail orientated person to edit and prepare already templated promotional materials and catalogues using InDesignCC. -Must be detail orientated and able to work on own remotely in the Lower Mainland. (Lots of minor edit work with type through various drafts that are emailed and handwritten). If you like playing Tetris then this is for you! - Ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight timelines. -Some minor design work. -Excellent communication skills. (As we will be communicating the workflow and following lots of instructions together- In person to start then remotely ongoing) -Ability to work in Granville/Broadway Vancouver area for training and on own system remotely independently. Can be PC or MAC with IndesignCC. -Knowledge and advanced experience with Adobe InDesign CC,Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) -InDesignCC program knowledge includes. Importing, exporting copy, working with paragraph, object, character styles, hyperlinks, idml file exchange. Work is seasonal on weekends mostly to start. Approx 8-20 hours every 2 months. Contract $25/hr. Next contract will be set up for July & August 2018. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who looking at an ongoing side-job that comes around 4 times year.
