Project Overview:
I have an existing Wordpress website that I want to add a Members Only area to. This area will be a membership paid access with multiple tiers/membership levels. We will also need to revise the existing page menus to link access to the members area.
The new members area should have multiple features that include:
- A Landing/Sales Page that shows membership levels and invites people to join. Must be very exciting, professional, and well done with graphics and layout.
- Discussion Board (Use BBPress plugin or similar)
- Membership Management (Use MemberMouse. Already installed but not activated)
- Video Library and video player (Considering Amazon S3)
- Video Library needs to be organized by categories. Not sure what the best way is.
- An area where Live Feed session can be embedded. Possible use Facebook Live Feed?
- Payment integrations are done thru Stripe
- We will need to add a sidebar with widgets that will be in the members areas only....not on the entire site.
MANDATORY QUESTIONS:
- What is the best way to host videos but ensure security. I will not use a YouTube or Vimeo link? Security is important as well as keeping the website light and fast.
- What plugin is best for video player? Lightbox or others?
- How many membership websites have you built? Please send 3 to 5 direct links
- What is your experience using MemberMouse? This will need to be set up.
Payment Milestone Schedule:
10% of agreed price to begin
30% of agreed price at completion of first draft
30% of agreed price after completion of final draft
Remainder after final testing and publishing
Hi,
I have read the description and here are the answers for your questions.
- What is the best way to host videos but ensure security. I will not use a YouTube or Vimeo link? Security is important as well as keeping the website light and fast.
>> First you need a good server with SSL certification or https. Also good space for videos to be hosted.
- What plugin is best for video player? Lightbox or others?
>> There are many. But we have used jw player many times and it can play hd videos.
- How many membership websites have you built? Please send 3 to 5 direct links
>> We have built many, but some of them are not live any more or working.
- What is your experience using MemberMouse? This will need to be set up.
>> We haven't worked with this yet.
We are waiting for your response.
Thank You.
use ssl for the secure urls and use jwplayer to load videos from any link so that your videos will be secure
- jwplayer is best for videos, and you can use lightbox if you want to
- membership projects links (add links)
