Although I live in Brazil now, I´m an American editor and proofreader, a native English speaker with excellent language skills and years of experience revising books and other texts for authors for whom English is a second language. The first Romance Novel I read was "Lost Horizon", written in the 1930s about Shangri-La, and I have loved them ever since. My method is simple - I use Track Changes to show all my corrections (English grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc.), questions and comments, send the book back to you for answers and alterations related to the points I indicate; then after you return it to me, I do the final edit. For a book this size, this will require more than 3 weeks. I would be happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement or other document to protect your author´s rights, and also to do a free sample edit on 1-2 pages of your choice to demonstrate the quality of my work.
