We clean for approximately 50 holiday let properties. We use an Excel spreadsheet to record the guest bookings, cleaning and valet arrivals and departures. At the moment, we manually write out the cleaning schedules and valet schedule for each day using standard forms. We would like to take this information from the spreadsheet and be able print daily cleaning/valet schedule sheets. Ideally if there is a better way of entering the guest information (flight arrivals, guest numbers) so that it can be displayed on cleaning and valet sheets we are open to suggestions. Attached is a small example of our current Master List. We do like having the visual calendar so we can easily view all days and how many arrivals/cleans etc we have. We are just after something that will make the daily planning faster - we don't want to be writing out 15 cleaning sheets each day. We would be happy to enter the guest information into a database if it could then populate into a calendar similar to what we have now. Guest bookings come from various booking agents - they do not come from one system - so the format we receive this information differs between agents.

To be honest this is not a very easy task and requires some serious thought before designing a solution that is useful. Please provide the various formats of the input file and we can attempt to design a solution with that and the dashboard you have already provided. Instead of making hollow promises we can determine what can be done and make efforts to get that done. I am a IT whiz with 2 decades of professional experience. I have 2 patents in US too. Would love to collaborate with you in building something useful if you are ok with it. Let me know.

1. Excel expert with extensive vba programming experience. I can work with you to help your data entry into the spreadsheet easier. The big question is how do you receive the information about your bookings, arrivals, departures, cleaning schedules etc. As an example, if you receive these through email we may be able to pull the data form email through automation. If its in a database, we can pull directly from the database. 2. I have worked for several years in excel and perform daily work using vba, user forms, pivot tables, formulas, etc. I also have an extensive background in other languages. 3. Hi, I have taken a look at your Excel spreadsheet and that gives me a good idea of what you're currently doing. I am not though very clear on exactly what kind of solution your looking for so perhaps we can discuss on messaging so that I can provide a more accurate quote. For example, the spreadsheet how does it work with multiple months? Are you just adding more columns? new sheets? new files? etc. Software wise, do you want to replace Excel completely and have a Windows-based application or maybe an Android tablet that captures and displays this information? Or are you after one code that just imports the data from the "various booking agents" directly into an Excel file like the sample you've attached. I can help you to talk through these requirements, the pros and cons, if that helps in your decision. About me, I have 10+ years experience primarily in JAVA/C#/MSSQL/Android and I have recently developed a system that replaced paper/Access based data for a large group.
