I have a few dax formulas to get me attrition by date selected. However, if we didn't hire anyone in that time period the calculation is off. I have a calculation to count new hires, one for terminations, one for the start of the month headcount (before any new hires or terminations) and the average headcount. The average headcount is (start of the month headcount - terminations + new hires + start of the month headcount/2. However, if we do not have any new hires in that job the calculation is off.
