I have a partially complete project that I need completed. The original project was to convert a MS Basic application which estimates values for storage tanks into an Excel spreadsheet.
The concept was to extract the computations which were performed by the MS Basic application, and put them into an Excel spreadsheet. Then use macros to trigger calculations based on variables and formulas on the spreadsheet.
The person who started this did an excellent job and then had to stop working due to family issues. He left it in very good shape and I simply need someone to complete the work.
Attached is the original Basic program, 3 word docs with code that has yet to be implemented some refernce information, the Spreadsheet as it now exists (including VBA code) and the code separate.
I need someone to dive in and finish this up, and of course I'm on a deadline.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
The completed spreadsheet should continue to build on the eixsting spreadsheet. VBA should not contain formulas, all formulas should be visible on the spreadsheet and should use variable names already established if at all possible.
The user will input data on the Input Form, click the Calculate button and the application will calculate variables and place them in the Output area of the Input form.
