I am very interested in your project. For the past nine years, I have broadcast football, basketball, baseball, and softball on the radio. Most of the time I do color commentary, but I also do play-by-play. Color commentary requires much more animation in your voice because it is through this part of the broadcast that you bring the game's activities to life.
When I recap a two yard run, I might talk about it being one of the most exciting two yard runs you'll ever see and when I'm finished describing it, all in about ten seconds, you will be excited for the player and team involved. When I recap basketball game stats, I go into very animated detail about the quality of game that the four point, one rebound guy played. When I'm finished, people understand that his or her contribution was far more than what's on the stats page.
My broadcast partner and I frequently read promos for the radio station to use during the upcoming season. My partner likes to remind me that he is more experienced than I and he invites me to sit back and watch the master work. I cannot remember the last time I did not hit my mark on the first take without any mispronunciations. He cannot say the same.
In short, I have the skills necessary to do a good job for you. Also, I am self-conscious enough to work my tail off so that I don't screw up that first take. By the way, I am told that I have a very pleasant voice for the listener. I look forward to hearing form you.
Have A Great Day!
