Electrical Superindent Needed for Onsite Work

He should be well experienced (preferably 10-15 years) in construction, field engineering, pre-commissioning, testing, energization & commissioning of LV & MV Substations, swithgears, Power System Automation (PSA), Variable Frequency drives (VFD), MCC’s, relays settings, transformers, motors, etc. Oil and Gas experience is needed. Furthermore, Electrical Superintendent is responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the day-to-day- execution of the electrical works, progress and performance of the project. The Superintendent is also responsible for the administration and control of all aspects of electrical site specific Safety and compliance objectives. Specific duties of the Electrical Superintendent shall include but not be limited to the following tasks: Ø Coordinate and implement the Project Baseline schedule in conjunction with the Project/Construction Manager. Ø Assist the Construction Manager in updating the Project schedule on a weekly basis. Ø Manage site Pre-construction (including Pre-construction take-off survey, Jobsite Utilization Plan, Staging Plan). Ø Maintain the established Safety Plan throughout construction. Ø Provide information as required to field personnel, subcontractors and vendors. Ø Oversee personnel administration (field staff), including daily timesheets, performance reviews, attendance and time off requests. Ø Oversee construction and subcontractors directs and supervise field staff in accordance with project plan and schedule compliance. Ø Maintain and update on a DAILY basis as-builts for the project. Ø Assist Construction Manager with Project Closeout Schedule with Material take offs and Submittal Review. Ø Provide Progress Report with Three-Week Look-Ahead Schedule to the Construction Manager and field staff. Ø Provide Construction manager with daily site information (Daily Job Diary), including electrical work in progress, jobsite project progress, jobsite issues, receiving slips for material received. Ø Communicates safety policies and procedures to all project personnel, including field staff, subcontractors and self-perform personnel; performs assigned duties in a safe manner and, while supervising others, maintains responsibility for their safe conduct of work and ensures they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits. Ø Provide supervisory direction of craft workers via the general foreman and foreman, managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence. Ø Ensures contractor compliance of quality assurance and quality control programs. Effectively monitors contractor’s non-conformance and deviation control systems. Ø Communicates and coordinates assigned craft/subcontractor(s) daily and weekly work plans with other discipline Superintendents/Facilitators and Construction Manager. Ø Monitors discipline construction productivity, progress, and cost, and reports to Construction Manager and Field Project Controls Manager. Takes necessary actions to maintain targets. Ø Assists craft/subcontractors/superintendents in resolving problems and reports on issues related to drawings and information, schedule, quality, quantity tracking, cost reporting, and safety. Ø Monitors, verifies and reports on construction activities for compliance with the CPM schedule; tracks and reports on completion of project schedule activities and commodity installation.
