I need a mechanic! (project car help)

Hey there, I've got a 1967 international scout I recently picked up from somebody on craigslist. It needs work, and is the definition of "project car". While I would like to learn as much as possible throughout this experience, there is stuff that I simply need somebody with advanced knowledge to help out with. I've been looking for a home mechanic service, yet none of them support or provide service for anything really older than the 80's. Also I think it would be better if I could establish a relationship with a particular mechanic instead of getting re-assigned someone else every time I need something done.
