Encoder signalling verification

We have a dc motor with encoder solution that appears to be loosing encoder pulses during operation due to signal corruption. The initial project is to discover where in the signal pathway that is happening by monitoring a number of places using a multi-channel oscilloscope and then a high level programming language such as Labview to compare the signals. It would only be a a few days work we would expect. We are based in London and the test equipment is on-site so reasonable proximity to London would be sensible. Happy to give full detail under NDA.
