Hello. Thanks for being conscious enough to try to eliminate any "negative" stereotype from your short story. However, i believe stories are the blocks with which a writer builds his thoughts into the concrete reality that he identifies with. So what one may consider a "negative" stereotype against blacks may in fact be the main attraction for another reader. Because at every point in time there's a person at the other side of the divide. So my advice is once you have an idea you wish to share through a short story, hold up your head high and say it. With respect to the project, I am black and very well understand what these stereotypes might be and would be delighted to help point them out as well as suggest improvements as i myself is a creative writer.
