Online Mobile Phone Reseller seeks Redevelopment and Maintenance of a Flash/XML e-commerce site to XHTML/CSS/Flash solution. This is a revised version of a previous project.
The client, an independent mobile phone reseller of contract handsets online, is seeking to make significant improvements to an existing flash/xml based e-commerce website and redevelop it into a usable, maintainable XHTML/CSS solution with flash interfaces where usability and customer experience can be improved.
Further development of database and backend coding will also be necessary for both the site management tool and improved front-end functionality. This will include a project to batch upload product/pricing into the database.
The management of the site requires a flexible, good value and pro-active individual or team. We are seeking an individual/team with proven capabilities, excellent time frame assessment and delivery.
Developers involved will have experience in developing standards compliant and tables-free websites with XHTML and CSS. They will have experience in N-tier development with ASP.NET (.NET Framework 2.0) Microsoft SQL technologies.
Proficiency in both interface and back end development is required. Excellent usability of the interface will be paramount. Equally, a dedicated team is needed in order to deliver the bulk of the project within 6weeks!
The client is value orientated and will require hourly and day rate figures as well as estimated costs and times frames for the development of a XHTML/CSS version of the existing site.
