C++ programmer needed

We're looking for someone to help revitalize a old isometric MMORPG from 2002 written in C++ and Directx 7 with networking components, called Myth of Soma. It's quite a barebones MMORPG made by a Korean company that has not existed in perhaps 15 years - and uses flat sprites including bitmap rendering. This is a project and is being developed & rehosted by enthusiasts with a passion for the game. We have the client game source but not the game server source and - so a little bit of reverse engineering may be required. We have a list of initial high level lists / wants They are :- Securing the client Development of hooks to interact with the game server executable including from game clients. Extending / Enhancing key game mechanics that are held on the game server executable's only E.g Revamp/Redesign of existing quest system and a lot more. As well as this we want you to feel a part of the group helping you to be involved in not just code but other things, if you wish too, such as animations / graphical and even the new player experience and hopefully come to like the game too. However its optional, we'll spend time to help you get familiar with the game and how it works functionally. The rate of pay is based what you think is a fair approximation of your time/value on a per task basis and that being agreed on before you start the actual task. So if you have an interest in the early Online RPG/MMO game scene and have experience in C++ and want to get knee deep into a new hobby that can pay for the bits we can't do, we'd like to talk to you.
