As I understand, each match happens sequentially - while matching 20 patterns in 2 wave files, maybe there should have been 20 threads Ideally, 20 matches in 3 -4 minutes instead of 13+ minutes (for 1 file), slightly more for 2 files assuming the thread utilization decreases - something like this.. looking forward to discuss.
