I'm looking for someone to develop a simple script for the UDK engine, or possibly a DLL if that is required. I need to bring data into UDK to power a visualization.
That data is in .txt files and is formatted like:
DELAY : 17
Mouse : C-4 : C-2 : Move : 0 : 0 : 0
DELAY : 15
Mouse : C-7 : C-6 : Move : 0 : 0 : 0
DELAY : 8
Mouse : C-65 : C-53 : Move : 0 : 0 :
I need that data put into some sort of structure that I can access via the UDK scripting tools. The data is a recording of realtime mouse movements. The "DELAY" refers to a delay in ms from one movement to the next, and the "Mouse:...." represents an x offset and y offset from the previous position of the mouse. I can also record the data in absolute positions if that's better.
I need that data accessible from within UDK, such that I can 'play' it back in realtime and use it to power the movement of an object in the engine. In other words, I record my mouse movements in another application (Jitbit Macro Recorder), and I want an object (a simple cube for example) in the unreal engine to move according to those mouse movements I recorded earlier.
What I'm looking for is a script, with an example project, that loads in data from the .txt file and moves an object around in the engine.
