I need help with creating a boot loader for atMega1281 microcontroller. I want the boot loader to check the SD card for a new version of code and load into flash and start running. I have already created the main application and I have also created a bootloader file to read the SD card etc. from a tutorial I found online. However, I am missing something because I cannot get it to work. I need help troubleshooting the code and settings.

Hi, Kindly send me the relevant code files and I will look into it. I hope you are setting the fuse bits correctly for the bootloader. AVR microcontrollers require special fuse bit settings to boot from the boot section of the program memory. I have more than 10 years of experience working with AVR microcontrollers, mostly for robotic applications. regards Omar
