Basically, I'm trying to make a small heater using a resistor, thermostat, and a fan. it will be used upon two arduino's where the heated resistor is on one. and the receiving side with the temperature sensor device is on another arduino, the fan could go on either...
Transmit device: heated resistor
Receive device: temperature sensor in the sensor pack
Measure the temperature change as a signal. This may need a ventilated enclosure for the resistor and the temperature sensor to limit airflow. We don’t want this resistor to be too hot or to touch anything – including the sensor.
In conclusion, all I want is a code to run both Arduino's together as well as to run the resistor fan and thermostat. Including a calculation on the limit to how far we can push the resistor because if we push it farther than its limit we will burn it... that's bad, we just need to use the limit of it to make it warm up the surrounding temperature. so eventually we can see a difference in temp and start up the fan to cool it off and see another difference in temperature. To get enough intake from the resistor we will need to run a transistor because the breadboard only gives out a max of 5 watts. (code explanation required)
Good Morning.
I have read the description of your project, it is a straight forward project, yet i have questions that can help you to optimize some component and, so we can understand better what you want to do exactly:
1- One of the arduinos have the resistor, what do you mean by that; arduino is a low power device, and to generate heat you need to connect the resistor to a more powerful source, or directly to your power source. Why do you need to have that on arduino, do you want to control when the resistor is ON and OFF, or is the resistor always ON. if so we hook it directly to the source, no need for an arduino.
2- if you want to control the fan by measuring the temp sensor, why do you need the thermostat for? One arduino can read the sensor, do some processing and decide upon your desired limits of temperature whether to switch the fan ON or OFF.
There is other considerations too, reach me on chat so we can discuss the project in more details.
Cheers.

hello
i am a computer engineer,i have masters in computer engineering,i have experience
for more than 7 years in arduino and electronics
i have made something similar before,if everything is ready with u i can deliver to u the code, explanation, and schematics within 24 hours
Hello!
I can assist you and make code for you to make a small heater using a resistor, thermostat, and a fan.
But first I would like to know more about your project work. I am having good experience of assisting clients remotely.
Following will be project layout:-
1. Creation of project flow layout and schematic.
2. Selection, Wiring and assembling of components.
3. Testing of individual components with test codes.
4. Creation of complete code.
5. Testing and optimization of code.
6. Delivery of product and discussion about code.
kindly discuss more about work via private message.
Bid quote depends on project work, we will discuss while sharing the project work.
Hi Sir,
I thoroughly go through your project description. I am happy to say I can do your work. I have done many this type of electronics and IoT work before. I am sure we collectively can make this project a success.
Best
Abdul Rehman
hello,
my name is Andrei , i am programming teacher and iot developer , i can do your project realy quick and with full explanation of the code .
Regards,
Andrei
Yes buddy,,,a very easy project to be done, i m doing r and d in 50+ platforms myself, u will get the best work accompanied with brotherhood,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Hi, I am an expert Arduino developer and I am confident that I am the right person for this project.
Why hire me?
- I have professional experience of working with ATMEL (Arduino Controllers)
- I design a neat code that is always easy for the employer to understand.
- I have experience with heat sensors and temperature control (resistive, thermocouple etc)
- I don't bid on projects that are beyond my expertise.
What you will get?
- A project with (1 or 2) Arduinos to control Temperature of resistance.
- Properly commented code.
- Code explanation with "Documentation" for future reference.
- Schematics (if Required)
Please feel free to check out my profile and reviews from my previous employers.
Please do discuss all the details, price and timeline before offering the project.
Question: If it's possible, can you tell some more details of the kind of fan, sensor and the heating resistor you plan to use? This will give an idea as to how complex is the project or any Ideas that I might add to improve the overall design.
Looking for a positive reply!
Thanks,
Mujeeb
Hey there, I believe it can be done by using just 1 arduino and another supply with relay. With enough information I can help you build it after work everyday. I believe can be done with it by next sunday tops and this wednesday or tuesday best.
Let me know what you think
I'm an Instrumentation and Control engineer.
Specialized in this area of the project that you propose.
I propose to be in continuous communication during and after the development of the project. Attending all your doubts and details.
Hello.
I have reasonable experience in electronic circuit design, control electronics, heater and Fan control using PWM via micro-controller. I have great experience in electronics hardware and programming.
Please contact me, I want to do this project. I can provide you consultation on this or if you say I can design the complete system from basics / scratch
Thank You
Faizan
Communication between two arduinos will be with i/o signal and the fan speed should be also controlled
