I need a very simple arduino based script that will allow me to read the state of a single digital input pin via serial connection. A 5 volt pulse signal will be connected to one of the inout pins. Thus pulse is connected to an optical proximity sensor. I then need to be able to read the state with a simple serial command eg 'READ P1' This should return 0 or 1 . There will be a 20ms delay between reads. Should be a simple program for an arduino expert.
