Hello -

I am looking to hire someone to help me set up a film production/co-production company based out of New York (or anywhere in USA) which is most beneficial financially. This will be for a co-production company between me and my partner who is based in Switzerland. She has a company established as an individual (I believe), in which she does not have to pay taxes each year - for now - until we start to bring in co-production money for our film projects. I believe she has an "individual enterprise in Switzerland" (as it is termed).

I'm a novice when it comes to setting up a company in the United States, so this is where you come in. This is for a permanent company. Not just an LLC for a one-off project.

I have set up a few of my own LLCs, limited liability company's or corporation, we call what your partner has a sole propiertership. I would suggest an LLC for now, I am pretty sure you need a social security number, a Altro
