Addition of a 2 car garage and update of home curb appeal

Looking for design ideas etc. I currently have a home that was built in the 1970, in need of a curb appeal update, also the home currently has a two car garage under the home (on the left side of the house) that is noisy when the garage door is opened and the bedrooms are above. Additionally, I have a second driveway on the right side of the house that is more practical to enter the house especially with groceries. I am looking at options but what I am considering is relocating the 2 car garage (may need to be a bit bigger for storage etc) to the right side of the house and build a connector from the existing side door to the garage so that we can go from the cars directly to the house. Bushes & driveway on right side of the house would have to be rebuilt to accommodate the new 2 garage; the driveway would be wide at the garage and narrow to get to the street. I would also like to change the curb appeal by possible adding doghouses to break up the roof line and change the entrance way. I want to change the siding of the house, as of now we have 11-12" old redwood siding that is painted and box out windows with trim. etc. very open to new ideas to change the look of the front of the house. Where the existing two car garage is I would like to close the wall and add a door (or French doors or other) to allow access to the basement from that side, door would need to favor the left side of existing opening so I can use the remaining space for storage.
