beaglebone black ohm meter -2

I have a project deal with beaglebone black using python language. the aim of this project is to measure the resistance value and display it in LCD 16*2. I have known resister and I also have unknown resister where you plug any resister in the unknown resistor and it would show you the value of the resistor in ohm. For instance, if i use 1k ohm it would display the value in LCD display close to 1000 ohm. if python can not be done then you can use other language but I have to use beaglebone black
