Hello, I have been associated with Hardware design (Circuit / Electronics design), PCB design, PCB Manufacturing, Component procurement, PCB Assembling and Functional testing for over 7 years. I have used various CAD/EDA tools for PCB design. Would you prefer any specific EDA tool for PCB design (or) any tool is okay? Project cost & delivery date which I mentioned in the proposal is approximation only. I'll confirm the both after reviewing the complete details. Hi, I am an experienced engineer that specializes in new product design and development. This includes creating schematics, PCB layouts for fabrication, sourcing parts and production assistance. I am familiar with the Hammond 1590B box and can redesign the board to utilize surface mount components and fit within the enclosure. Additionally, I can generate the BOM, source the parts and assist you with production. Based upon your description, I estimate the project will consist of the following major tasks/milestones. 1) PCB Design; including complete BOM with vendors 2) Parts Acquisition (i.e. PCBs and boxes) and assembly NOTE: All parts/materials/shipping all the responsibility of the client and costs is not included in this proposal. First and foremost I have experience designing electronics products for 1590B enclosures. More specifically I design audio products for musical instruments. These products incorporate both digital and analog technology. Careful attention is paid to placement of parts, design of ground planes, routing of traces to avoid ground loops and crosstalk. I have I routinely worked with SMT technology as part of my designs. Discrete components as small as 0402, and ICs to MSSOP and SC-70, are routine. My proposal includes: Step 1 Schematic entry - submitted for your approval Step 2 Rough positioning of components and generation of 3D model (approximate) to ensure proper fit submitted for your approval. Step 3 PCB Layout, including silkscreen and manufacturing instructions for board fabricator, submitted for your approval. Step 4 Parts List, in Excel format, complete with manufacturer and supplier's part numbers and pricing in quantities of 100 Upon completion all files will be provided digitally. Manufacturing can be negotiated. I do have the capability to manufacture proof-of-concept prototypes in low volume in-house. I also have relationships with PCB manufacturing houses for larger manufacturing runs. I can also administer the collection of quotations, sourcing of parts and perform quality control.
