MESTAAWOT For Ethiopian Women (MFEW) Inc.

The mission of MFEW is to provide Ethiopian girls and women of all ages have access to literacy and information; training in technology and vocational skills, enhance their interest and knowledge in education, family planning, mental health, wellness, and financial independence through workshops, counseling, individual mentorship, and sponsorship programs, preparing individuals to become self-reliant task force and leaders of tomorrow in the United State of America and Ethiopia. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1) To operate in the USA and Ethiopia with future operations all over the world as needed. 2) Develop Contemporary Community Center programs to provide access to literacy and information, to address individuals needs and community challenges. 3) Youth Mentorship Services and Sponsorship programs to enhance interest in education and knowledge, which promote individuals to become self-reliant task force and leaders of tomorrow. 4) Education and Training programs in technology and vocational skills training for women, local leaders and organizations which advocate for their communities and promote the general welfare. 5) Family Planning, Mental Health and Wellness programs providing mental health awareness education and counseling, preventive health care and wellness workshops to women, community, Strategy and Partnership: MFEW works incorporation with non-profit organizations, faith-based organizations, government, non-governmental entities, intergovernmental, and international organization in carrying out its mission, to create a Contemporary Community Centers. The Community Center provides accesses to literacy and information, youth mentorship and sponsorship in education, training in vocational skills and technology, workshops in family planning and wellness, awareness and counseling in mental health to Ethiopian girls and women of all ages to be informed, trained and mentored members of the community, and preparing them to become self-reliant task force and leaders of tomorrow in the United State of America and Ethiopia.
