For the last 30 years, SHAPE has delivered fitout and refurbishment projects both big and small, across the; commercial office, hotel, education, healthcare, retail and specialty sectors in Australia.
We’re searching for a part-time/freelance copywriter to assist with internal and external communications as part of our Branding and Communications team.
This role will involve:
• Writing and proofreading website content: including blog articles, case studies, social content, procedural documents and more.
• Research: Products (construction industry think pieces), companies (their history, offerings, processes and points of differentiation) and other related construction topics.
• Ensuring content is:
o Search Engine Optimised (following company’s SEO guidelines)
o Following brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Utilizing tools (training will be provided if you’re new to these): SEMRush, Wordpress, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics.
You will have:
• Proven excellent english writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work quickly and independently on briefs provided by the team
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs
• Research expertise to mine for pertinent information to complete the tasks
• Experience within the construction industry, either through your education or through your professional experience is not essential but will be highly regarded.
