I am a fellow Virginian. That matters, right? I served as Senior Editor for RVA Magazine, and worked as a staff writer specializing in art reviews and artist interviews. I am adept at cultivating a written voice that captures the attitude and outlook of a publication, which is to say I'm pretty good at sounding like you. I love art. And I genuinely like your stuff. Which, while I am proficient in scatalogical lit, does make it easier. I'm particularly intrigued by your diversity of style and medium. Your body of work appears to have been birthed by all the cultural corners of this city's polygonal identity. It's rare to see such a range without coming across work that feels aesthetically tired, artistically disingenuous, or simply uninspired. One last point (because it is always awkward for me to market myself as some kind of branded product); I can easily go see your work at Plant Zero. Say what you will for technology, there is no way to know what standing in front of a canvas really feels like while seeing it through a screen. And that is of great significance.
