USB keyboard splitter to USB and RS232

**USB keyboard splitter to simultaneously run one USB and one RS232 inputs (circuit and software)**

Design a device that will input a USB keyboard (actually a barcode reader with standard PC keyboard protocol) and will output one USB keyboard and one RS232 ASCII text output.

Due to the high speed of the USB barcode and the slow RS232, a buffer for minimum 32 characters should be included.

The RS232 input shall passively read the barcode reader ASCII codes. No handshaking is required.

The USB will be transparently transferred from the barcode reader to the computer's USB input.

The project shall include and cover full hardware and software design and implementation.

The outcome will be full description, schematics, code hardware and software that will enable to reproduce the product and modify it if required.

The outcome will be the sole property of the buyer.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

4) The actual hardware delivery is not mandatory as long as the application was fully tested by the bidder and the bidder provided inforamtion will enable to produce the project by the buyer.

5) The use of the PIC family processor is prefered.
