Two homes, New Construction, Residential Projects
I am new to San Diego County and am seeking an mentor/advocate/assistant to create a project Cost Estimate to bring existing hand drawn plans from September 2011 (convert to AutoCAD) up to current code, add required plan and code sheets, details and etc., stamped and ready for permit submission to County of San Diego.
I did a walk through the various County departments. This included Plan Review, Engineering, Lad development, and Zoning. many items need to be addressed on the plans.
Project will need Structure/Civil Engineer, Soils Report/Compaction, Building Code knowledge for County of San Diego, Retaining Wall, Truss Design, Energy and Imperious Water Calcs, Storm Water Management, Shear Walls, and Title 24. Fire area is "Moderate". I'd like clarification as it was brought up new residential construction projects need Sprinkler Systems installation.
Client needs to know costs prior to proceeding on project.
I have 20 plus years in AutoCAD drafting however I have been away since 2012 and have fallen behind with my knowledge. This will be a great opportunity for me to learn and get up to date. Open to discussion and negotiation, maybe even transferring project. Let's meet and discuss.
