Part Time Bookkeeper/QuickBooks

We are looking for a part time or full time senior Quickbooks accountant to work in our outsourced accounting department. We offer a pleasant environment and flexible, family friendly working hours. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic self starter that possesses great communication skills and a pleasant, extroverted personality. He/She must also enjoy working in an fast-paced environment and enjoy working with multiple clients and projects throughout the day. Must be a team player and work well with others. A certified Quickbooks pro advisor preferred. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Record all vendor invoices, maintain accounts payable, pay vendor invoices and provide reporting on behalf of our clients. - Prepare all client invoices based on contract milestones, maintain accounts receivable, follow-up on past due collections and provide reporting on behalf of our clients. - Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions and payroll accounts. - Prepare payrolls and payroll taxes, quarterly and annual payroll tax reports - Prepare sales tax reports - Review and record general ledger transactions - Prepare monthly compiled financial statements - Provide ongoing Quickbooks consulting and support to our clients. - Ability to identify, correct and report accounting issues - Ability to enter job costing, estimates and sales orders, and class reporting. Candidate must have 3+ years experience and be proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office.
