Hello, What MCU do you have in mind? Also, a breadboardable circuit will not necessarily be the cheapest to mass produce. Are you planning on running the circuit at -40C or just being able to read a remote sensor at -40C with the board somewhere else? Same with the 70C. A display that can handle those extremes will not be cheap, and with 70C being the limit of commercial grade components, industrial or automotive grade components will need to be used. Will you need the device to communicate with anything? For costing, how many units is the target? 1000, 10000, 100000? Best regards, Stuart Borden.

I am an electronic engineering student and in the electronic III class I did a temperture sensor using a LM35. It is a device that mesures the temperture so it can output a voltage depending on the celcius grades, between -40° to 150 °, I turned on a fan cooller when the temperture was high and it turned off itself when the temperture were lowing.
