I have a Windows MFC application with an oscilloscope like waveform display window that uses too much CPU time. I am looking for someone who can use OpenCL or similar to offload the drawing of the waveform from the CPU.
The waveform display shows 1024 8-bit samples connected by straight line segments drawn in a resizeable window. The window is updated at around 25 fps, but for each update, approximately 40 waveform need to be drawn - each one drawn over the ones before resulting in a mass of overlapping waveforms.
I require someone who can select an appropriate solution to provide platform independent GPU acceleration for my application and assist in the integration into an MFC project in Visual Studio 2008.
I have uploaded a complete Visual Studio 2008 MFC project test application with a screenshot of the waveform window. The winning Freelancer will need to modify this test application to offload the waveform drawing to the GPU.
