The idea of supply and demand zones have been used profitably and successfully in manual trading for decades by many experienced professional traders. Idea of S&D zones apply to all market and timeframes, but emphasis for accuracy is on + H1 frames. I my opinion S&D zones are the single most import guide or ‘indicator’ to base all of my trades on independent of the trade duration, strategy or position size. First of all I’m looking for an experienced programmer with good knowledge of MQL and MT4 programming as well as interest and experience in developing and programming MT4 indicators and EA’s. The compensation for this project might not be in par with the overall challenges and workload of this project, mostly due to the difficulty of exactly identifying the detailed project outline and specifying the amount of work required to finish this project. Therefore the programmer involved should also have personal interest to develop this indicator! This personal dedication and interest toward the project will make it more likely for us for succeed together. Project in short: I’m looking to build an indicator as close as possible to the original. The indicator idea is to look at pure price action to determine S&D zones based on fairly simple rise-base-rise, rise-base-drop, drop-base-drop and drop-base-rise zones with rise-base-drop and drop-base-rise zones being the primary strong S&D zones and the drop-base-drop and rise-base-rise secondary (semi-strong) S&D zones. The biggest challenge of this project is to define fairly subjective and visual rules into code, so that indicator is not too selective and on the other hand will find enough zones and allow some tolerance. Indicator will be used as basic logic on most of my automated systems and will be incorporated into my core EA template. However this is not part of this project outline, and I’m only mentioning this because I am also willing to consider sharing my template with the person participating in this project. I apologize for being so vague on the project specifications, but I hope to find someone on this site who would be interested to take on this project with me. I can also code MQL myself, but this project requires more complex programming skill than I have, I have also attached a S&D indicator ([login to view URL]) that is available on forums. However this indicator fails to correctly identify the S&D zones, however it could work as a good starting point for this project. Indicator has been modified to provide better info for an EA than the original one. I also like the way it draws the S&D zones. Primary zones could look like the ones drawn by this indicator and the secondary zones on different buffers with another color.
