We are looking for ideas to design a screen layout for our new heavy truck shop management software.

See attached image, very rough draft. Please play around with shapes and sizes, and location of items.
Color light purple, but would like to be able to apply different colors to the layout if required.

**we like the layout of office programs such as Microsoft word, and would like it to have a similar feel/flow"

This application will still need to be developed, however, we are looking for ideas of the layout.
