Please please please submit 1 idea per submission. Submitting the same idea in different layouts and environments (e.g. on headed paper... on a wall.. on a business card) is just clogging up the process. I have been in design for 20years. Just a pure logo on white is fine. I can tell if it will work on different things.

If you really feel you must add the logo in multiple environments, then you can add multiple graphics within the SAME submission.... not separate ones.

Also... please be warned that:

- Baby child-like type/fonts will be rejected
- Any cartoonish style entries will probably not win
- Do not use more than 3 colours (preferably 2 maximum)
- Anything that looks like Clip-Art will be rejected immediately
- The logo should preferably be letterbox style (i.e. wider than it is tall)
- The logo should preferably be readable at small sizes (i..e what would it look like 150px wide)


BACKGROUND
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a small, "2 man band", startup who work in the motor industry. They are looking to start up their own company selling Car Shampoo, Wax, Cleaners and fabric protectors.

They need a logo. The company is called "Seal & Shine".


WHAT DO THEY DO
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The activity of the company is, in simple terms, selling car cleaning products.

WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THESE PRODUCTS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They do have a unique angle. All the products that they have had developed work in a "double" way. Everything they do is doubled up. For example, the product for protecting the outer paintwork is made in such a way that it not only covers the paint in a solid, shiney ceramic coating... But it also covers it in a polymer to give it a soft, smooth finish.

Each of their products has this kind of "2 step" or "double edge" about it. For incredible protection, cleaning and longevity of the vehicle.

THEIR TARGET AUDIENCE

They are trying to attract and sell to classic, high-end car owners and Velet and Detailers (These are the people that clean/work on the cars for the owners).

They have given me a list of brands that these car owners would have - such as:

Porshe
Farrari
Pagani
Maserati
Lamborghini
Bently
Rolls Royce

You get the idea.

The vision that I have for the logo is that it is veering towards 'classic' rather than shiney-shiney... it's not Bling. It's definnitely not "Cillit Bang".

It needs to appeal to a more discerning owner and the high-end 'detailers'.

One of their competitors would be https://gtechniq.com/ who have gone for a more shiney, techy, bright red look. We're looking to make "Seal & Shine" a bit more subtle.

    This is taking so long because so many of you uploaded the SAME logo again and again and again and again in multiple formats and "on locations". It is a complete nightmare for me to wade through 1300+ submissions when (in reality) there is probably only about 400 unique logos.

    I specifically asked you not to.

    So, please don't chase me to check the logos. It will have taken me nearly 2 whole days of my time so far to review everything. Far longer than many of you took to produce the logos.

    Thank you to those who actually read the brief and took the time to produce high quality submission..

      I read it, did two submissions, and I'm glad they were rejected... LOL. And that is based upon your condescending comment alone. You should be grateful for the time and work people put into your logo and how many entries your received. Most everyone worked for you for free.

    Also... there are an awful lot of logos that look incredibly similar to earlier submissions. If I spot them, I will look at the # number and reject the later submission.
