I need someone to illustrate and polish my logo sketch for a Groundskeeping business.

My son worked for a groundskeeping company in Winnipeg, Canada during high school, and the owner retired. My son took over the client list and renamed it Presidential Groundskeeping. He's focusing on executive homes and entrepreneurs who don't have time and plans to market himself as the guy who lets them relax and focus on doing what they do best, making money. He may also do some smaller commercial properties.

My son drew a sketch, which I kind of like. I like that the house looks like it could be a very modern, high end designer home, or something slightly commercial. I like the lines that depict the grass rows that are created when the person mowing keeps the wheel on the same track when moving row to row. The lines also look uplifting. I would not use the company name "Presidential Groundskeeping" across the grass though. Instead, I would like to see that around the path of the circle. More like a presidential patch or crest. I am also including a Navy Recruiter patch I saw recently that I think looks cool. I'm not sure about the wreaths around the outside, but I do like the clean look of the outer circle with text around it.

Preferably, I'd like to see one version with just the text with stars around the path similar to the Navy Crest, and one version that also includes gold wreath embellishments, stars and the word excellence above it similar to the Navy crest.

Notes on the PRESIDENTIAL angle:

This is a CANADIAN company, so we don't want the house in the logo to look like the White House. Although the USA and Canada are neighbors, Canadians are Canadians, not Americans, and like Americans, like to buy Canadian, so please keep that in mind. No White House in the graphics. The presidential is a play on words meaning, regal, or high end, or top shelf, but is targeting business owners, executives and affluent clients in CANADA.

- The logo needs to work well in one color.
- The logo preferred colors are black and gold.

    Hey guys. Thanks for the entries. Please remember that this is a CANADIAN company, so while we are playing on the word Presidential, we do NOT want the White House in the graphic. Canadians might avoid a company that they think is American. This company is targeting presidents of companies, executives, or affluent home owners, but we don't want it to be pure USA in feel. So think regal, presidential, wealthy, but not American. Thanks!
