Need a logo for a company called:
The Marketing Department

I think I'd like the words 'The' and 'Department' to be secondary, visually smaller words and the word 'Marketing' to stand out much more. But I am totally open to ideas.

I quite like the simplicity of the attached logo examples.

I am open to colours, I am open to adding a small icon that makes sense for a marketing company, it just needs to be modern and clean, but not boring.

The logo MUST be 100% ORIGINAL - no stock icons
The logo MUST be drawn as a vector (Illustrator)

Thanks everyone for your logo entries. I'd like to see some options that incorporate a megaphone. Google search 'better food foundation logo' and 'film english logo' for inspiration. I'd also like to see some options that are purely typographic. For this style, search 'typographic script logo' on google. I don't want a logo that includes a 'TMD' acronym or any kind of financial chart icon. The logo needs to be modern and funky. Thank you
