We are a charity who provides a range of community based services and projects. This request relates to a new project which consists of having 4 centres/offices in 4 different geographical localities. They will provide activities and support to individuals who are in recovery from alcohol, drugs or mental health; the focus is on their recovery journey into improved mental health and wellbeing. We would prefer if no images of alcohol or drug abuse were incorporated to the design.
This model is used in other parts of the country and these centers are usually named 'Recovery Hubs' however I do not want to use this terminology. I require a name that reflects the work but that could be adapted to include the name of each locality. So essentially it would be one logo with 1 name e.g.' Recovery Hub' and adaptable to using each of the 4 localities which are: 1. Hamilton/Blantyre ; 2. East Kilbride ; 3.Clydesdale/Lanark and 4. Cam/Glen.
An example could be: Hamilton/Blantyre Recovery Hub or Hamilton/Blantyre Beacon ; this would change to reflect the locality name East Kilbride Recovery Hub / East Kilbride Beacon.
Can I clarify that I do NOT wish to use the term ' Recovery Hubs'- thank you

At present the favoured name is Beacon, so for example it would be The Hamilton/ Blantyre Beacon or The Beacon- Hamilton/Blantyre; and adaptable to use the other locality names; however we are open to suggestions for a different name from Beacon

These venues will be: flourishing communities of people, conveying a spirit of connectedness, humanity; the beacon of light, the lighthouse, showing the way, offering light and hope, radiating for those who are searching for the way forward. The favoured designs at present are the ones illustrating the journey of people bathed in the light of the Beacon- thank you!
