  Thank you all so much for your submissions! Given the large volume, I will start the process now of eliminating those designs which I do not envision as the right logo. I think I have enough options to choose the right one! I appreciate all your efforts.

  Several designs are shown on business cards, please note that my ranking is based on the design only. I would actually prefer to see design without the business card background/texture. The primary use for the logo is on the internet. Thanks again for all the creative designs!

     This isnt goin to work. I respect the idea. But you dont do a logo design using the elements you took from the existing brands. You're gonna face a huge problem in the future and you're gonna waste a lot of money. please open the idea of this contest.

     Christian, appreciate the feedback but perhaps you don't understand this logo is not "building a brand". As an art collection, I am not selling anything or attracting customers. In addition, this logo will be used in a limited run for an event. I think as graphic designers you could use a bit more creativity and less skepticism. I admit there are limitations here, but a lot of subtle differences are clear in the designs....sizing of each element, kerning of the WKB, introduction of new concepts within the confines....etc. I can't imagine hiring someone in a creative field that immediately starts with "this isn't going to work"
