Our company (TerraStar Energy) does renewable energy projects. We are creating a consumer line of products that can be purchased on-line; solar panels, solar water heating, anaerobic digesters, heating and cooling products, etc.

New company division name: "TerraStar HOME"

We would like to have a company character that is cute, friendly and recognizable to include in our advertising, website, packaging, etc. We decided that a Pterodactyl (flying dinosaur) is the perfect image; since our technology is replacing fossil fuels (get it?) and the name is similar sounding to our company. Also that they were high-flying creatures also gives us good imagery.

I am looking for an artist to do several renditions of a character ("Terry") that we hope will become synonymous with our homeowner and small business line of products. If successful this will be a long-term project with multiple iterations of the same character. We might evolve this to include some animation, so if that is in your skill set, the better!

I would like the cartoon character to be similar looking to those from the old TV show "The Flintstones" (see attached for samples of style and what a "real" pterodactyl looked like.
