Contest Description We run a large Dutch e-commerce store for professional kitchen equipment: horecagemak.nl We are looking for a modern redesign of our category / product listing page. Our current design works functionally, but it looks outdated, crowded and not very modern. We want a cleaner, more organized and more premium design that improves usability and conversions. A screenshot of the current page is attached. The winning design should be delivered in Figma. What needs to be redesigned The category / product listing page, including: • Product grid • Product cards • Filter sidebar • Sorting options • Pagination Our goals We want the page to feel: • Modern • Clean • Well organized • Easy to scan products quickly • Professional B2B Think of modern Shopify Plus style e-commerce design. Design improvements we would like to see Cleaner product cards The current product cards contain too much information and feel visually crowded. The new design should focus on: • Product image • Short product title • Price • Delivery information • Add to cart button Other information like warranty or article numbers can be less prominent. Larger product images Product images should be larger and more dominant. In modern e-commerce designs the image often takes 70–80% of the card space. Better spacing and hierarchy The layout should feel: • Less crowded • Easier to read • More premium Improved filter sidebar The filters should feel more modern and easy to use. Examples of filters we use: • Price range • Brand • Width / dimensions • Depth • Height Designers may also suggest improvements. Optional ideas Designers can also include ideas like: • Hover effects on product cards • Product badges (e.g. “In stock”) • Quick actions Submission requirements Please submit: • A mockup of the redesigned category page • Preferably in Figma Showing the design in a real page layout mockup is highly recommended so we can see how it fits on the website. Important This contest is for design only. No coding is required. Our developer will implement the final design. Design direction Please keep the design clean, modern and professional. Our customers are restaurants, snackbars and professional kitchens, so the design should feel trustworthy and business-oriented, not playful or overly colorful. Focus on usability The page should make it easy for users to quickly scan and compare products. Clear hierarchy is important: • Product image should be dominant • Product title should be easy to read • Price should stand out • Call-to-action should be clear Realistic layout Please design the page as a realistic website layout, not just isolated product cards. Show how the filters, product grid and sorting area work together so we can see the complete user experience. A mockup inside a browser or webpage layout is highly preferred.
